About Danielle

Danielle L. Sciarrino received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, and her Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University. 

Starting with her BA program, Mrs. Sciarrino has continually worked with children, adolescents, and young adults, connecting them with necessary services and providing them with individual, group, and family counseling.

Prior to starting her private practice, Mrs. Sciarrino had worked on Child Study Teams providing case management services and group counseling for elementary age children; she has been a play therapist at a special education preschool providing individual, group, and family counseling for children with Mild Autism, behavioral disorders, and trauma.  She has also worked at an outpatient mental health center providing counseling services for children and adults.

Since 2005, Mrs. Sciarrino has managed her own private practice providing play therapy and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults.

Mrs. Sciarrino is a member in good standing with the National Association of Social Workers and the Association for Play Therapy.
